I was in search of some waves this morning. You see sometimes I have the image in my head or I’ve seen something that I want to put my own stamp on.It didn’t quite happen this morning the surf just wasn’t really there, well not close enough to me anyway. Even with a long lens on the shape and size just didn’t happen.You can see also that those who were out in search of the same thing as me got as little as I did. The rides were very short and also a long way off shore. I am not really a water baby as such, I mean I am happy for a swim and to get into the surf but I just couldn’t go out there and be bait.Not that I have ever heard of anyone being attacked out here but then there was a very popular photo going around Shire pages last week of a shark in the shallow surf at one of the beaches.
Back to what I was actually here to write about though. I am in search of this wave shot and out off Potter Point is the place I think I can make it happen. I just need some decent swell and hope that I can get into the right place for what I have in my mind. So here is the story of this morning (visually) as well as me writing it of who and what I found out there.
